About Us
Arden Warren RN, BScN, IBCLC
I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria in 2000. I have spent much of my career working in a variety of hospital Critical Care settings.
After the births of my two daughters, I received incredible feeding support from my birthing team and became a passionate advocate for breastfeeding. I completed my certificate of Breastfeeding Support from Humber College in 2018, went on to do a year-long mentorship program under the supervision of an experienced IBCLC, and became fully certified as an IBCLC in 2019.
I currently work as a Lactation Consultant RN at a local hospital, supporting families in Labour and Delivery, postpartum, NICU, and in an outpatient Breastfeeding Clinic. I believe that with compassionate, evidence-based support, families can achieve confidence and success in reaching their feeding goals, and I am honored to support you in your feeding journey.
Heather Pearsons BA, BScN, RN, IBCLC
I have both a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, becoming a Registered Nurse in 2011. I spent 7 years as a level 3/4 NICU nurse, discovering my passion for working with parents and babies and seeing what a difference breastmilk can make for the most vulnerable infants.
I became an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) in 2018, and have been working in a hospital since 2020 in this role. I could see from my hospital experience that there is not enough prenatal or postpartum support for parents who want to breastfeed. My goal is to make new parents feel confident throughout their feeding journey.
I have three young children who were all breastfed with some challenges along the way. I feel that having personal experience as a breastfeeding parent is invaluable to help other parents, babies, and families. I would love to help you reach your feeding goals.
